Amarillo Prospectors & Treasure Hunters Association is a family friendly organization and encourages everyone to get our youth involved in appreciating and enjoying the great outdoors. We have Members with all levels of expertise and experience, from the beginner, just learning, to the seasoned expert. With roughly half the membership involved in prospecting as their primary interest and the other half primarily interested in metal detecting it makes for a good mix of interest and capabilities. Our group has monthly meetings to share information, experiences and programs that are informative and entertaining. We sponsor group activities to share our interest, from Coin Shoots to Gold Prospecting trips. We meet the 2nd Tuesday at 7:00PM in The Canyons meeting room.
